Where are the watches sourced from?

Watch Lab pieces incorporate secondhand watches sourced from flea markets, vintage dealers, and private collections. Each watch carries its own history and signs of wear, which are intentionally preserved as part of the design.

Do the watches tell time?

All Watch Lab pieces contain embedded secondhand watch heads, selected for their visual, material, and symbolic qualities rather than for timekeeping. These watches are untested and should be understood as design elements, not functional instruments.

Watch Lab exists to reposition the watch beyond its role as a tool for telling time, proposing it instead as a material within fashion design. The goal is not to measure time, but to reveal the aesthetic beauty of otherwise forgotten watches. 

How should I care for Watch Lab pieces?

Watch Lab pieces incorporate secondhand time pieces, and should be handled with care. Avoid exposing the watch element to water, soap, or cleaning products. For garments, gentle hand washing of the fabric portion may be possible if the watch component is carefully avoided. More specific care guidance will be provided on each product page.

Does Watch Lab restock pieces?

Every Watch Lab piece is one-of-one and cannot be reproduced. Once sold, pieces remain permanently visible on the site as part of the Watch Lab archive. Similar concepts may appear in future releases, but each Watch Lab piece remains entirely unique.

When will I receive my order? 

Orders are typically processed within 5–8 business days before shipment. Because many Watch Lab pieces are one-of-one and require careful inspection and packaging, orders are not dispatched immediately after purchase. Do you accept returns?
